I have an 04 renault clio which keeps intermittently unlocking itself. Took it to the dealership who could not reproduce the fault on their computer nor did it unlike itself whilst in their garage. They are threrefore refusing to do anything about it. Any ideas to what it could be or what to do?

Sounds like it could be being affected by a signal of the same frequency  - does it always unlock itself only in the same place but not do it in other places?

If you think this is the state of affairs then park it in a different place or just a short distance from where you usually park it.

It has done it in random places, at my address, Tesco supermarkets, friend's address... It has a mind of its own! Only place it hasn't done it, is at the garage! typical.

The dealers have suggested that perhaps that was a problem, but then surely if its unlocking at my home address also they should change something. What does the world think?
