He took the `proverbial` out of `Pop Star to Opera Star` on Saturday evening which I thought was in extremely poor taste and would like to see if he could do better. He, being in show business should realise this. Until now I found him fairly amusing ,but no longer.

I do find some of the clips funny....then he pops up and ruins it Red.

They are "celebrities" who are on tv for the sake of being on tv - why waste even a second of your life feeling sorry for them?

I have sung since I was 8, and professionally for many(adult) years after.After I retired from the professional side I worked at Covent Garden in the wardrobe department.
I have to agree that PSTOS is one of the worst depictions of people "trying" to sing opera that has been my unfortunate experience to see.
Quite how Volare or Granada etc are opera I fail to see.
So if HH wants to pan them that is OK with me.
But I digress.
Harry Hill and TV Burp often send up many of my favourite programmes,but do I get annoyed,no I do not..
I hope I have the sense to realise that ALL television is ripe for sending up,and we have much more in this category than we used to.
TV Burp is a breath of fresh air if it pricks the balloon of TV pomposity that carlton would have us uphold.

There's a saying in the celebrity world .... "Any publicity is good publicity".

It won't be true in every case, but I reckon lots of celebs don't mind being ribbed as long as they're getting the tv coverage.

i love Tv burp and Pop Star to Opera Star was well in the firing line to have the proverbial taken out of it utter rubbish.
