Swine Flu jab?
6 Answers
I have an appointment to give my little girl the SF jab next week but something is making me wonder if it's safe as it was (in my opinion) 'knocked up' in a short space of time, considering how long drug trials usually take!
But the alternative is risking Swine Flu!!! Any opinon out there?

Both my daughter and I were eligible for the SF jab, but I turned it down, mainly because my GP sent out a letter inviting my 20month old daughter, which said that the current advice is that children under 5, have half the adult dose, and only recieve one dose, but that information may change.....hardly fills you with confidence does it?!
Good luck deciding.

my 2 year old had it a week ago and complained of a sore arm but had no side effects, i wouldnt want her to have swine flu, and im sure they wouldnt inject you with it if theyt were not sure, all gps have thier own discretion and opinion on it, and if they felt strongly against it they could debate it...but as they havent i presume it will be ok.
of course I would hate my daughter to get SF, but I also wonder how many people have actually had SF as opposed to seasonal flu or a really bad cold? Each to their own on this, every parent wants whats best for their children, and now we all have to just cross our fingers and hope we've made the right choice!
