I am painting two bedrooms having had them plastered. Is there a tool to buy or a way of getting a straight line between lighter and darker colours where the two walls meet, and also along the skirting board ?? I have tried masking tape, but haven't got a perfect line. Any ideas please ?

I,m afraid it,s free hand all the way, if you just had it plastered you should have a nice sharp line to work too, what you really need is a good brush with nice soft bristles and take your time.
Oh and use your brush at 12 40
Oh and paint the lighter colour first (which can extend over the other bit if you've had a bit to drink) then do the straight darker colour line (for which you will need to be sober).
Dulex have a really good paintbrush out at the moment. It's really good.....triangle. So so easy to do edges.
