Why does my 12 month old Samsung phone keep suddenly changing to numbers while I am texting?
Is it broken or am I doing something to cause it?
Sometimes I can change the numbers to words by hitting the 0 as I would when scrolling through dictionary words.

You may be accidently hitting the * key by mistake (bottom left), this changes the format of input.

If you try pressing it several times you should changes to a box at top right (above box showing who you are texting).

That is what happens on my Samsung U600. If you had said what model your phone was I could have been more precise.

Its not that I checked.
Model is Soul U900
Tonight I was texting and at the end of the text I saw that the word "all" was 255. taking the cursor back and pressing 0 changed it to all.

What is going on here?
