A possible solution to qu.1.  The numbers could be written in base 6 where the place values are 36, 6, 1

10 would therefore be represented by 14 (1 x 6 + 4 x 1)
and 100 would be represented by 244
(2 x 36 + 4 x 6 + 4 x 1) = 72 + 24 + 4
