Age related

Many appear to be confused or intrigued, when reading or answering posts, as to the age and gender of other AB respondants.

Would it help to colour code age ranges and/or gender to ease the tension a little.

Good idea landie, why don't we all have liitle avatars next to our posts which could be a pic of our face.  We could also have our addresses under it with a little map.

I know what you mean landie - it could make things a bit easier knowing someone's gender & age, but don't know if that would work technically. Besides, we all try to help each other on here, despite age & gender.

Kerplunk, apart from detecting a litttle humorous sarcasm - I know what you mean. You have to be very careful not to give too much away on here. I've been at the receiving end of someone stalking me on AB, but the Ed is aware of it. Say no more!

No, definitely not, landie.  Age shouldn't make any difference anyway.  There are old 20 year olds and juvenile 60 year olds.  It's the contents of the postings that matter not the age of the contributor.
