can anybody tell me why i cannot get MW on my radio i have tried reprogramming the code without success i can tune the settings of the stations and save them but cannot get any sound . FM is ok

i'm not that up on car radios, but i dont think it has anything to do with the code section, it's funny that you can get fm and not mw. all i can think of is check the aerial connection as fm is considerably easier to pick up than medium wave. other than that, unless it's a radio that you would like to keep the period look of the car correct repair is usually un-economic.

      some of the smaller fords i.e. KA for example have no MW  waveband and are only FM .I should know as I have owned 3 of them.
