What has caused the deaths of approximately half the human beings who have ever lived? Not including "old age "!

My paternal grandmother died of Old Age aged 96, (said so in the certificate) my maternal grandmother aged 77, died of cancer, and that;s what is probably said on her certificate though I didn't see it.

Sorry my last post doesn''t give an answer - its difficult to say, thinking of the deaths that have been talked about around me in the last couple of weeks, deaths have resulted from bypass surgery, cancer and murder.

Heart disease, cancer and strokes

 

We don't know what half the people who have ever lived have been killed by.

Actually the thing that kills all people is being alive in the first place.

the last time I heard this was on some doom-mongering TV show like Horizon, and the factoid was "malaria is thought to have killed half the people who have ever lived."
