why is it that a barber gives you a better haircut than a hairdresser but there usually cheaper ?

Hmmm.. as this is in the Motoring section.. do barber's now have drive-through haircuts?

When you write "there" do you mean "they are"?And do you mean that the barber is cheaper than the hairdresser or vice versa?
