Fungal infection in belly button

My partner is on Anti Biotics for that and completes the course on Thurs. It still hasnt healed as it should be? but its gotten more smell like feet..! Ewww.! Now we noticed theres white stuff inside. GP said its spot. Sample being sent off, awaiting results.. Any advice how to get rid of smell.

i had a similar thing going on after my keyhole surgery, i used q tips to clean belly button out then diluted tcp on q tip till clean and that seemed to do the trick.

Sorry... but why antibiotics for a FUNGAL infection? Surely anti fungal treatments would be more appropriate?

Fluconazole... sorry, the name's just come to me. I think that's the number one anti fungal treatment. I may be wrong... (?)
