Hi All
I'm currently trying to find my 3 siblings. I have birth records for each but I don't know where to turn next. How do I go about trying to find them now? We were all put into a children's home in 1950's. I was taken from the home by my birth father to live with him at the age of about 6. None of my other siblings came with me and I don't know what happened to them after this time. My father will not discuss any of this with me. Any information and what to do next would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

Then (providing the names weren't changed on adoption, etc) it may well be possible to trace subsequent marriages for them.
Ancestry.com will give you access to the English and Welsh records............

you need to contact the childrens home or the agency/church that ran it, your siblings should have adoption registrations but it is important that you go through the right process to find out where they are now. Is it possible that the others were older than you and so may have not had a name change?http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Government
