Sound Gone on me Computor

There is no sound on the Comp' for some reason. Can anyone talk me through getting it back, please.
None of the "Mute" boxes are ticked. Been through control panel and cannot find any obvious reason for the loss.
Plugs are all OK.

If its only just done it recently then try system restore.

This happened to me on my lappy and I felt a fool when the helpdesk pointed out that I must have inadvertently turned the little wheel at the front and turned the sound down.........................

Could be a few things that I could think of

1 - Damaged Sound Card
2 - Corrupted/Out of date Drivers
3 - Speakers damaged
4 - (as has been suggested) A volume dial somewhere has been turned down

If its a damaged sound card or speakers then you will have to replace them. If the drivers are corrupted or out of date, you will need to go to the sound card manufacturers website and download the drivers
