Can anybody tell me (probably you American ABers can) what the New Yorkers call the Statue of Liberty? They have a nickname for her and I can't remember what it is.

Lady Liberty?
of Mother of Exiles
or ^
it's real name is Liberty Enlightening the World or something like that, so technically 'the statue of Liberty' is a nickname, I suppose...
I always thought it was "Miss Liberty"
All of the above are correct responses but I think that the answer you're seeking might be 'Colossus'.

No, can't say these ring a bell. I'll have to ask a New Yorker. Thanks everyone.
Philkool, there is a place to eat in the island, good food but take plenty of $$ to eat there...you can't go anyplace else...nice place though....good tour, interesting.....trust the the lovable French to build it, then donate it to celebrate someone getting one over on us.....
