LOL @ Ummmm's Nan. She must be one funny ole gal. Your Granddad and Nan sounds adorable, and they are so lucky to have a granddaughter who's so caring kind and patient.
Pretty good day all round, walked Max, did some gardening, had a run to the tip, took Max for another walk called in the pub for a couple of pints of cider and then relaxed for the evening
Sorry to hear about Nancy..........
I'd ask you to say "Hello" to her for me, but if she can't remember who you are, she's not going to remember me................;o)
My nan was hilarious.............when she was in her 80's she'd sit every night drinking guinness and whisky chasers, pretending to be deaf................
She'd pretend she remembered you Jack....once I've spent a bit of time with her she does start to remember things. She still always has a smile on her face. I was waiting at the front door for a taxi and I could hear her kissing Grandad...it was gross.
She remembers the pub. We get off at the bus stop outside and she stares at it.....and always says, I know that pub.
