got to be jamie maguire for obvious reasons. But Mickey was funny lastnight pretending to be gay. Although I've gone off shameless but not much else on lastnight and one of the few nights it didnt have a sex scene in it.

Ohhh yes, Jamie - he is one sexy guy. I know what you mean about the sex scenes, 4getmenot - every storyline seems to have 'shagging' involved somewhere. The last few weeks though, there have been some good storylines. I normally watch next week's episode on E4.

I watched it other week and it had more than one sex scene. had the gay gallagher sleeping with mickey, then with the girl, then jamie being an escort, then frank shagging mrs doyle. Eeeeeeeuuuughhh

yep, I agree 4getmenot - I think one sex scene - o.k but to keep repeating it - becomes tedious.

In fact I did say this to my 20 year old son who also loves the programme - he did'nt agree with me (now theres a surprise).

i think all the actors are outstanding
but the plots are getting a bit siily now
we can see why "jamie" is a fav,for obvious reasons, have you heard him talk off stage,a real Belfast accent,

I don't watch it (really should!) but was in a restaurant a few weeks a go and the lad that plays Lip was in there.

I have only dipped into it twice for 10 minutes at a time, maybe it was just chance but the first time I saw 5 sex scenes in succession including between 2 gays and then one of them with a girl and the second time was the guy filming himself on his phone having graphic close-up sex with a drugged girl (he did get a baseball bat or something from her brother afterwards I think). Anyway haven't watched it since. I've been told it's very funny and clever but I think there's an argument that depicting that behaviour in a comedy suggests this is an acceptable way to behave. I don't think it is.
