two things to moan about

1. how can the D/T gen know crossword get there by Wed deadline ? you cant post until Tues and even with 1st class post and the weekend backlog it will never reach by Wed, why do they do this knowing its a bank hol ?
2.Does anyone else find the clue numbers of the DR £500 crossword very faint ? I can see them in daylight but not if I atempt at night and before you get the pun in , i have been to Specsavers !

I had to hurry and do mine on Saturday morning to catch the 10.30 am post to make sure it arrived by Wednesday. I agree with you that they should give an extra day or two when a Bank Holiday is involved.

I didn't bother to send in the DT this week Dee.They always do this .Can't be bothered to tax my brain so early of a morning to get it into the Sat. collection .
As for the DR ,I find my self squnting at it and more often than not having to get a magnifying glass out to see the numbers in the grid even in daylight. Or I find myself taking my specs on and off and holding it up in front of my nose to squint at it . It's a real eyestrainer .
