Just to thank you all for your good wishes and advice when the neighbour's wife bumped my car.
Have had a call from my insurance company and the nasty bugger (him not her) has finally admitted liability and his insurers are coughing up. I have been assured that the cheque for the excess I forked out for is in the post.
Thanks again (I think I got rather upset at the time) xx
Glad to hear it. If he had any decency, he'd cough up for a large bunch of flowers by way of an apology for the way he tried to bully you. Or even better... a bottle of gin !
I can still come over and 'sort him out' if you want craft. The offer is still there if you want me to borrow a work wagon and 'bump' his car (at 30mph, with armour fitted to my wagon)
craft - my next door neighbour has just got a 9 week old westie called Oscar - he is soooo cute. Any tips for owning a westie ? my cousin has a 2 year old westie and the poor thing has been so ill - he is on anti inflammatory tablets for the rest of his life.
He fell ill after around 8 months of them having him.
My westie was a 2 year old rehome so I don't know what he was like as a puppy. My sister had a westie and they are apparently very clever little dogs but also very stubborn.
My dog just makes me laugh (he is currently trying to get at the sheep on the TV). He's a disaster if animals are on the tele, including cartoon ones.
He's got dark peachy coloured muzzle and paws..........apparently it's something in his saliva which is causing discolouration. He's quite healthy so I'm not really bothered, although I've changed his diet (totally organic food now) it hasn't made any difference.
NoM I'm sounding like a sad, insane dog lover now but he is genuinely funny. He doesn't run, he just bounces all over the place.
If he wants attention and I'm reading he'll just bat the paper out of my hand and settle sprawled on my knee.
He chases spiders and is always skidding (I have no carpets) and smacking into something.
