What position will Cleggy get in the New Tory Government?
I think he'll get a senior post for himself, I'm predicting Home seccretary. Thoughts?

It may be better for the Lib/Dems in the long run not to join a pact with either side and let the Tories run a minority Government without them.
Whoever gets in, they will have to impose some very austere measures that will make them deeply unpopular. Mervyn King, the Govenor of the Bank of England, warned recently, that the Election winner could be out of power for a generation, such is the hard measures they will have to dish out.

It's not in his gift - he needs to sell it to his MPs and his Party unless 3/4 of both his MPs and the Party executive buy in nothings going to happen

I think it's more likely these are talks around Cleggs price for not bringing down a minority Conservative Government.
I may be wrong but I can't see him selling a coalition with the Tories to the faithful - not without a spectacular price tag
