Did anyone watch Question Time last night?

I thought that Mehdi Hasan was rude, arrogant, and not prepared to listen to anyone else's point of view.

There he sat with not a smile on his face and eyes bulging in aggression, ready to rudely interrupt the others..

At one stage he branded Simon Hughes 'the oracle in the corner' after Hughes had guaranteed the current Con-Dem Coalition would last until May 2015.

Thank goodness he is only a journalist, can one imagine if a number of his type ever gained power in this country?

I was so unamused by his antics that i switched off and went to bed. I do enjoy the weekly cut and thrust but he was as you say far too ready to poo poo anybodies opinion that didn't match his.
Just another insect trying to make a name for himself.

Being a life long Tory, I do not like the idea of the joint partys, but after the mess that the country is in, why not try somthing new, it might just work, give them a chance.

It seems that a lot of people, do not want it to, and will be very upset if it does. Lets see??

wait you didnt like the Asian?......Weird!?
Ah a thread by old git about race, how refreshing....
What about the rude and aggressive right-winger. Ms Phillips is female and jewish; that's got to be good for a few similar jibes.

Personally I felt sorry for Heseltine and Hughes being kicked from both sides.
Maybe that sort of left-right wing extremist assault will help bond them together.
I thought he was very tenacious and would make an excellent M.P.
He writes for The Economist, I think, hardly a left wing publication.
Actually he's the senior political editor at the New Statesman - a publication not entirely well known for its support of any faction to the right of Karl Marx.

Mr Hasan's behaviour was boorish and childish and did nothing to enhance the debate.
I thought he was an excellent representative of old Labour.
I cant see any mention of race in the OP, but then you leftie aplogists are always pretty good at twisting things and using race as your get out of jail free card.
come on people, this is a wind up! just do the math...
