The sky player only gives a limited amount of channels and you have to be an existing sky customer to use it.

For regular TV channels I use this site.

http://tvcatchup.com/ (although it seems to not be loading at the moment!)

It's a good site when it is working, I use it all the time to watch TV as I can't get freeview where I live and am unable to put up a sat dish (listed building in a conservation area). it eanables you to watch all the freeview channels on the internet.

You have to register, but it's totally free.
