Lol 4get We have had football salad, with football chicken pieces in BBQ sauce, and footie quiche lorraine, for afters football strawberries and cream.

No but there were quite a few poeple with trollies full of packs of beer and lager. Looks like they are settling in for the duration.

Football is real people playing for pride in their team/country. I bet you watch soaps, which are basically made up stories with no point. They are on every single night of the week and we don't complain. The world cup is on once every four years. Come on.

I agree with what you say styley but in our house, if it isnt footie, its snooker or darts or worst still cricket and I hardly ever get a look in. At least while the football is on I can get on the computer or the phone

I don't watch any soaps at all, my OH subscribes to skysports so I don't get a look in, its footie,rugby darts you name it. One footie match is just like another now.

See...... gran agrees with me. At least when footie is on I can do what I want without MyOtherHalf moaning about where Im going or what Im doing and only noticing Ive not been there when footie is finished !!!!
