Well int the dictionary it comes from the greek gupsos is chalk and philos is loving and they are usually found in a bridal bouquet
Artemesia all I can think is the first part of the word is an anagram of stream and the last part pronounced ia sounds like the word ear which is a listener. Does that seem like a reasonable explanation?
