Does hard boiling an egg destroy the protein in its white? If it does, can anyone tell me how long to boil them, so that this is avoided.--Thanks in advance.

It is vitamins that the body cannot construct de novo which you should avoid destroying.
no. It is "de-natured" (as incitatus correctly states) which means it changes form and cannot be returned to the "runny" form - but the protein remains as usable by your body. If you're wondering why athletes/body builders eat eggs raw it's out of convenience - easier to crack and drink than mess about cooking them
