MM Links Solutions June 2010 [Week 2]

According to gen2, caslass is male ~ apologies from me are therefore in order. I went by the chosen user name and his email message to me gave no indication as to the sex of the sender. Based on the opening of the Football World Cup (sorry Dustybun) I went with the links:

English ROSE
French FRIES
German MEASLES
Spanish OMELETTE

I was seriously thinking of “French knickers”, but not even wickedtongue offered this option as one of his predictions!

The prodigal son (Alibobs) was once again champing at the bit and led the field with ENGLISH ROSE for TWO POINTS to be followed immediately by roslyn251254 with the very same prediction. They were followed by beejay1124 with a bout of GERMAN MEASLES for another TWO POINTS.

Entrant #9 was Strix, who blew the game wide open with German Measles and SPANISH OMELETTE for FOUR POINTS (worried that he might be being too obvious). With three links up for grabs, there came a string of “two pointers” as deecee131, Christiana, Dinkypuzzled, slaney and seekeerz beat the clock to score double points.

However, it was paulineward who delivered a double whammy to match the Four Points of Strix (what a sinister combination). I therefore take great pleasure in nominating these as JOINT HOT SHOTS OF THE WEEK!

As the game advanced, no fewer than 13 entrants picked up single points for English Rose or German Measles in more or less equal numbers, but worthy of special mention were rockfordill and Eiggam, both of whom managed double hits themselves to advance their positions on the League Table. In sight of the finish line, twix123 entered the frame munching his way through a bag of FRENCH FRIES to claim the very last link for a well-deserved TWO POINTS

I don't thing anyone could blame you for thinking caslass was not of the male gender.

Bit worried about being joined at the hip with young Pauline - who knows what mischief might follow if we combined efforts!!!!!

I am a bit confused, it does show caslass as being of the female gender on her stats. Along with everyone else I do hope all is well
