A perfect day..

Awww! what a great day I've had with my grandaughters, the weather has been kind to us and we done all I had planned and more.
We've all come home with pink noses even though 50fact block was used. Thank you for all your kind comments. The kids are now going to have a sleep-over and they're soo exited, I've now got to brush up on my story telling skills, bubble blowing in the bath first.............

Sounds lovely Jem - was the tide in or out when you were on the beach ? I hate it when its out and you have to wade in all that mud with those little crabs nipping at your toes...

It was out most of the day, came in about 4o/c, they found some pools to play in though. Yes there were plenty of baby crabs they didn't mind but I hated 'em, didn't walk far out, could see the Kent coast. One of the girls asked if that was heaven because it looked as if it was in the sky to them. Bless!
Just relaxing with a cuppa, kids are off, they tired themselves out.
