The police are criticised for a poor investigation - fair comment.. and he should be able to sue them for damages.. but what about the woman???
She went on to accuse other men of the exact same thing... SHE should be banged up!!! Or at least forced into serious therapy...
She has almost ruined this poor mans life - and that of his wife!

This is appalling. But I suspect the original investigation the police carried out is SERIOUSLY flawed. Why didn't they find out the medical history of the complainant? Why didn't they ascertain the circumstances of the original complaint? So many questions requiring investigation and not by those who carried out the original case/investigation. Though I suspect that the police 'look after their own'. The Police Complaints Authority is useless and most complainants are fobbed off with irrelevant explanations or, even worse, totally ignored - apart from an acknowledgement of their complaint 'which will be investigated'. Oh yeah?? And retirement isn't an excuse. These 'retired' police officers are usually in receipt of extremely generous pensions. Paid for by OUR taxes. David Cameron/Nick Clegg are you listening?
