Remember some of those people are friends of Wayne Bridge do you think they are going to slap Terry on the back because hes captain?
That self serving press conference last week showed what sor of man he is and where was the support that he spoke about it was none existant.

Hopefully Capello will resign and the next England boss will give Terry back the armband. He is a born leader, Gerrard (who isn't actually Mr squeaky clean himself if the rumours about him getting a teenage girl pregnant are to be believed - apparently he has got an injunction out against the newspaper printing that story) is not in the same class as Terry as a captain
Maybe a non-playing Captain is the answer.
My pal and I are very good at shouting advice from the stands at Brighton.
I'm sure our advice is helpful and inspiring.
"Come on, we need a goal !"
"Go, Seagulls ... go, Seagulls!"
... and that sort of thing.
Perhaps we could be appointed as joint non-playing Captains ?
