I have been enjoying the world cup, but I am not 100% certain about the onside rule. Could someone explain it for me. I am going to the pub with my friends to watch Spain and Portugal tomorrow you know how it is have a few beverlys with the lads. A clear explanation would be much appreciated as I don't want to appear stupid.
A player is offside if he is behind (closer to the goal than) the last defender, when a pass to him is struck. There may be some subtleties but that's the gist of it.
Tarquin Liking football and rugby doesn't define anyone as a manly man. A manly man should be able to enjoy like ballet and man makeup whilst still hanging on to his Alpha maleness!
Certainly not me tarquin, but I'm pretty sure someone may have implied that in the thread about you wanting high heeled womens shoes though I could be wrong.
