Guinea Pig Farm
I'm not sure if it's ok to start a topical debate, but I'm interested. I guess perhaps there's someone to remove this if it's against the rules - sorry if that is so.
What do you think about the animal testing story in the news at the moment?
I like animals, but I also respect the dead and their relatives. Do others feel that the protesters went too far? Or is this an issue that is so important that such extreme steps are necessary to end animal testing?

Once the testing is abroad who are these protesters going to target?
It is not freedom of speech that is stopping prosecutions it is lack of evidence, no one saw anyone in the churchyard, who actually wrote the letters to shareholders etc, who is hiding behind the mask.
Until the protesters suffer the consequences of their actions ie drug withdrawal their action will continue unfortunately they are virtually impossible to identify so they will continue to terrorise innocent people.
Sorry, ignore that - wrong window. Had too many windows open and that wasn't even meant for AB - I got utterly confused!!
I didn't say you WERE trying to overthrow the government. I still disagree with your comments of the second half of your first sentence. I think it's a sweeping generalisation that is only partly correct.
I know there is an evidence problem, but I think freedom of speech comes into play. After all, with today's press, the government is damned if it does, and damned if it doesn't. Even if they had the evidence, they'd get into the doo-doo for prosecuting.
Anyway. There we go.
