The weekend is here and the sun is shining . . . well, it will be shortly. that's good because it is the Raft Regatta today at Saul Junction on the Gloucester to Sharpness Canal. It always raises a lot of money for charity.

Well, I wish I'd managed to stay in bed longer. The idea of getting an early night is that you get the extra sleep, but I don't feel as though I've had that much tbh.

Still, I might go for a nice walk up the lane before there's any traffic.

The early night in hopes of extra sleep very rarely works. The thing is to accept it and enjoy the early hours.
I've already been for a walk a little way down the lane to look at the view out over the Severn Vale to the Forest of Dean and the Welsh hills. It's beautiful at this time of day.

Morning WBM and all. Another nice day we are doing well with the weather for a change just hope it is just as nice when the schools break up . Have a nice weekend all.Hope you have seen the magnificient views of the Spacestation this last 2 weeks it is a long time since we have seen these 4 minute sightings every evening just after dark. Tonights time is 10 55pm for 4 mins. and tomorrow 11 21 pm.There are only a few more so try and get a view of it as you can make out the shape of it now.
