My 2 year old English springer is healthy, fit and maybe only 2lb over weight. He's fed on Bakers complete plus the occasional scrap such as my daughter's sandwich crusts. But, i was beginning to think that the food i'm giving him is just plain boring and he needs more. He's not a greedy dog and takes 24 hours to eat his dinner. But it just seems so dull. I've put gravy with it before but i was worried about the amount of salt in it. The only good thing i get with the complete dog food is there's no back end problems. If i change his food....he can s*** for England. |

There's no point making them ill just for the sake of change - I'm sure that sad eyed 'oh no, not that again' look is just to make us feel guilty!
He does have a bit of ready-brek for breakfast & heaven help me if I make it lumpy - he's straight on his mobile to the RSPCA!!
