On the dropdown list of sites visited is it possible to delete selected sites and keep the rest? It appears that it's all or nothing.. Thanks!!!

It depends which browser you use. I use Google Chrome, and it's perfectly possible to remove individual entries from its history list.

use the down arrow key to highlight an address, then delete it.

Thanks or your replies, Mark I use Firefox.
Sara3 the method you suggested I had already tried but it doesn't work.I can either delete the whole list or none at all
