Last Night

Wow! that was some downpour we had here in Southend last night.
We had friends round to watch the game but before then a BBQ in the garden. We left everything out there, Sun umbrella's, cushions, loungers, kiddies tent & toys, This morning they are dripping, oh dear!
We even left the cat out & she's dripping too leaving pools behind her.
Its started again now.

morning jem - am down on Romney Marsh in Kent - we had a good shower during the night (about half an hour or so) - I live at the end of a farm track and the potholes were full this morning. My garden looks a bit fresher but the ground is still very hard. It's overcast and cooler but I have my doubts we'll get any more rain.

HERE IN CLACTON WE HAD A LOVELY DROP OF RAIN LAST NIGHT, FIRST RAIN FOR WEEKS AND WEEKS.
NO SIGN OF ANY RAIN THIS MORNING AND IT STILL FEELS WARM AND MUGGY.

I'm in Stockton-on-Tees, near Middlesbrough, and it's colder, grey and drizzly. then again, we've been a few degrees cooler than the South apparently.

Slow Worm PF - Yukk! I don't think (even at this great age) I've ever seen one.
They're like a v/small snake aren't they.

And just to let you know after yet more rain this morning it is now 4-40ish pm. and we once again have sunshine and blue sky's. (rain? What rain)
