Basic 'how to' book on digital photography?
Good evening all.
Can anyone recommend a decent, not overly technical book which explains such things as shutter speed, exposures, aperture settings etc for non-SLR digital cameras?
I have a really nice Olympus SP 590 uz camera,(known as a 'bridge' camera-not quite compact, not quite SLR) which is great on 'auto' but I would love to understand how to take pics with the manual/semi auto settings.
I would be really grateful for any ideas please
Thank you,
Maz x

As with most of these sorts of books it is aimed at SLR users but the information holds true for bridge cameras as well, aperture and shutter speeds have the same effects no matter what the camera. Good luck and happy shooting.
