PC Memory

I need to add more memory to my desktop PC but all I can find out about whats in there is that it's Hynix DDR. Can anyone tell me what this means & what kind of memory I should buy. TIA for any advice.

Use an online configurator,it will tell you exactly whay you want.Go to google and type configurate.

Switch it off and then switch it on again. As soon as it starts to boot, go into the BIOS. This will usually be achieved by hitting the Del key or the F2 key. That will usually tell you what time of RAM is installed.

Otherwise, why not just look in the manual...?

Thank you for the quick responses. I shall give them both a go. As for the manual - that was put somewhere safe & has been MIA ever since.
