Is it just me getting a grumpy old man or is Dor ND getting very so stage managed its not worth watching. When it first hit our screens I thought it a good show now I tape it then watch the contestant's introduction and then fast forward to see how much they won. I would love to see how the present viewing figure is, compared with the start.
The point is the agonising decision as to whether to accept the banker's pathetic offer, or push your luck and lose it all. Is it sensible as you are only there once to go for it, or just greedy and you should quit while the offer is enough for you ? Decisions decisions.
Yes any gameshow gets a bit stale after a while. Novelty is important.
I don't get how after Noel says"you could be our first male quarter millionaire" the £250,000 comes out with the next couple of boxes or so.How come no-one has requested him not to say it???
I think it's a tribute to Noel Edmunds' skill as a presenter that he manages to whip up such a level of tension out of a game with absolutely no skill required what ever.
What i do find weird is the pseudo-camerarderie and emotion that is normally restricted to people who have shared a near-death experience such as a forced landing or a ship going down - very very strange ...
