Have 2 Cordyline australis in my garden that have flowered, great big bushy flower, and is producing seeds. what do you do with this flower? do you remove it? os will it fall off by its self?,
when mine flowered, as it was so tall and I couldn't actually get to the flower I left it, loads of starlings descended on it eating the seeds watched on by a robin, who having learnt something new then proceeded to dine on the seeds after the starlings had left. I still don't know whether you should cut the flowers off or not, my plant never suffered from not having it removed, so I suppose it is up to you.
