................... is firmly locked inside the washing machine and it's my clothes that I want tomorrow. Just had to share that very interesting information!! Damn and blast - I have to wait for my son to come and sort it out this evening!!

Tried that Red. No luck!! All that happened was that it completed the spin programme with a red light flashing 'door' at me, which indicates that the door is open (which it is not). Have, on son's instructions, turned it off at mains and am leaving it for a short while.

Turn the machine off from the plug and wait for a little while, this normally releases the door time switch.

We had to break into my washing machine last time this happened. And I had to buy a new one!
