"Life screening" - your thoughts
10 Answers
have just had a letter/circular sent to me from a local private clinic offering me a 'Life screening'. Its 5 tests (from screenings for strokes, heart disease, arterial etc etc) and charges £139.
Anyone had experience of this sort of service?
I would have liked a liver function test but thats not one of them. So - has anyone expereince of this sort of 'promotion'.

You can get a liver function test for nothing at your GPs if you need one, I have one every 6 months alongside my cholesterol test, Everyone over 50 is supposed to be invited for the MOT at the GP in due course too (although whether that is still on, with the change of Government, I don't know yet).
