i have a rose growing in my garden with white and red blooms and one bloom half red and half white. is this normal for one plant to have to have three colours?

It is perfectly normal but relitivly rare and regarded highly as a plant feature.  All that has happened is that your plant genes responsible ther pigment have been created by a mixture of equal dominance genes, and therefore gve you a beatiful heterogenus appearence!
