Bilious Attacks
When we were kids and felt sick or were sick, mum used to say "Oh maybe it's just a bilious attack". But what did that mean ? Surely more likely food poisoning or a bug ? I don't hear the phrase anymore.

These episodes of symptoms seem to be similar in onset and duration for each affected individual. The exact cause of cyclic vomiting syndrome is not known.
