Why do some people post questions in totally the wrong catagory?

Shouldn't this Q. be in 'How it Works'? But really, when I've done it b4 it's usually, I'm in the adjacent category and my left and logical brain is racing ahead of my imaginical thinking right brain.

One of the problems is that there are only 17 categories listed on this site. There's a whole wide world out there, positively heaving with 'categories' that are uncatered-for here. For example, someone who wanted advice on buying trousers - if I remember rightly - recently posed the question in the 'Body & Soul' category, presumably on the basis that you wear clothes on your body. Since there is no 'Fashion', 'Fabric' or 'Dress/Clothing' category, it's hard to see where else she could have posted her query.

It is, of course, also possible that questions - depending upon how you look upon them - might fit into a variety of categories. Best just to take questions at face value and not worry too much that they might have fitted better elsewhere.

Cause people can't be arsed to check (or even think) if it's going into the right place....same feeling as my question from a while ago why don't people actually answer the questions asked.......the one that really gets my goat is people flooding the music section with questions about bleedin' adverts...who cares folks...get a life and make a cuppa when they ad's come on.

maybe its because people are fallible and make errors. But cheer up, if they didnt there'd be nothing to moan about.

My problem is with people who post the same question in several catagories !!!!
