Please can anyone recommend a good sturdy, large capacity clothes airer. I would need to put it outside, and be able to bring inside if it rains. I have studied some at argos etc, but reviews are of mixed opinion. Thanks for your help.

I have a basic 3 way folding one like this but mine 3 not 4 : http://www.argos.co.u...airers%7C14418554.htm had it for years but and it has just bent slightly but doesnt hold much clothes and it blows over in strong wind. I do tend to fold mine into triangle and peg it in this shape it stops it blowing over.

I also have a minky xwing http://www.argos.co.u...airers%7C14418554.htm although this is not a minky by make so might be cheaper in quality. very good doesnt blow over, good to hold long trousers and shorter/smaller items on the lower leg sections.
I also have a big minky tower http://www.argos.co.u...airers%7C14418554.htm its the biggest, it needs building which it slightly tricky for memory and im good at flat pack. it holds alot but ideally each item should not bo too big, i.e it could hold load of kids clothes but for loads of large bed sheets you would be better with a minky 'xtender' often use the hanger holes on the frame to hang warm clothes straight out the tumble drier so they cool before I hang them in wardrobe. Also go to hang after ironing. Due to its size it is difficult to get back in house folded out.

if you have any questions just ask
IKEA to a good sturdy one.
