Oh yes Count - I often hold them. With dainty little teacups and little fingers held up in the air.... Before we start on the gin, that is...!
..and do you cut the crusts off your cucumber sarnies, salla?

Obvious Dahling, I am a Lay-dee as everyone on here is aware...
salla, I am trying with a magnifying glass to understand, what IS that on your avatar...?

As, yesterday, I tried to be an 'angel', I wanted an angel avatar. Somehow I was drawn towards this black angel - cos I don't think I could ever be 100% angelic.

Unfortuantely it looks more like a deformed crow....
I hate to say this but I thought it was a dead blackbird.... and I couldn't understand why, it just doesn't suit you, IMHO

In that case boxy, cos I respect your opinion man, I shall change it to something more jolly forthwith.... Just let me go & have a gander at what I can find today x
Morning salla, lovely to hear from you.
Son,D in L and grandson are in Surfleet.
Went to Boston, with them, last Xmas. After shopping,we had tea in a very large department store.Do you know its name ?
Many thanks for replying and have a good day.
Kind regards dg x
Question Author
I bet it was Oldrids.... Boston's only dept store!!

Surfleet is 11 miles from where I work and live. A nice village. I had an aunt & uncle who lived on the side of the River Glen - myself & Lil spent many a happy summer's day there, sliding on their parquet floor and dipping our toes & skimming stones in the river. A couple of nice pubs too!
Thats the one !
Usually have a glass or three in the Mermaid, when we go up.
Thanks for info x
