The Pope is against Contraception, risking the lives of thousands who may die from AIDS.

But what so YOU think about this.

Craft, there's a big difference between intelligence and sense.

No I must disagree Naomi...there must be many valid reasons for these people to consider a change of religion. The Duchess of Kent was married in York Minster (High C of E) and has always taken her religion seriously, but what can prompt someone like that to embrace catholocism.
The issue of Women being ordained in CoE has prompted several defections to a denomination where women are 'rightly' kept in their place.............

Certainly that was a major reason for Anne Widdecombe to 'transfer'.
Well, actually high CofE isn't too far away really is it Craft? You know, drinking blood and eating flesh and all that. Maybe some of them think they'll be more likely to get to heaven if they turn away from the rebels and embrace the mother church. Who knows what superstitions fester in the minds of people indoctrinated with religion?
Oh right....never thought of that jack...
Neither did I - but you're right Jack.
With the greatest of respect there is quite a dividing line between satire and unadulterated offensive abuse. You might like to rejig this video, replacing the Pope with a mad Ayatollah anda few of his mullahs, then sit back and calmly watch the proverbial hitting the fan. I never thought I would live to see the day when my sense of humour failed, but, sorry, not funny. I take no personal offence, but a thousand others might.

I believe that the Duchess of Kent, in a rare interview, said that one of the things (inter alia) which attracted her to the Church of Rome was that she liked the security of being told what to do and not question. Would that all women follow her example!
Haaaa! Dream on Mike. :o)
