why do my clothes now smell of mildred since getting a condensing tumble dryer?

Since getting a condensing tumble dryer 4 months back, my clothes smell of mildred/meldrew/mildew

does anyone know why or if I am in fact correct to link this to the new tumbler...?

make sure you clean out ALL the filters. My condenser has a bottom filter that gets clogged with grit from dog beds

Perhaps Mildred had been in the tumble dryer doing unmentionable things before you put your washing in.

Now if you're asking why the dryer smells of MILDEW, then perhaps woofgang has got the answer.

Are you hanging things up promptly or leaving them to swelter? leaving in drier + pongy old extractor fluff might give eau de mildred
