Divorce Advice Needed
My ex is divorcing me on grounds of adultry. There is a section in the papers where I can admit the adultry, but it says I am not obligated to respond to that question. What would happen if I left that question blank, but still signed the papers which would admit the grounds. I don't understand why that question is on there, but I am not obligated to answer it? Do I need to put either yes or no?

I do not have a solicitior at this time because my ex is processing the divorce and even though I have agreed to pay half the costs, I don't think I could contact them for advice as he is their client not me. Not sure really. We have been separated for almost two years and I wanted to wait until to get divorced on the two year separation grounds, but he doesn't as a way of blaming me even though we both were at fault for many reasons. I was just wondering if anyone knew why they said I wasn't obligated to say yes to that question, but if it would slow down the process if I didn't. Thanks for your help.
