OLD TV DRAMA!

hello to you all!

not sure if anyone can help,as its a little hard to explain what im trying to find!

but here goes................. about 20 years ago! around 1984 to maybe 1987? there used to be a drama on itv i think,it ran for about 12 weeks & was around 8 or 9 pm on a sunday night (i think!) i can only remember bits about some of the story line, a pretty blond girl about 20 think her name was nicketa? she had a swedish boyfriend?,he had a scoota. i only remember the last one,they had been away on holiday to a lake? he was out on his scoota,when a car pulled out on him & he died.

i know its not much to go on! but i very much need to know what it was called,as id like to try to get a copy of the drama somewhere!  ive got the soundtrack to the drama in my head! & it wakes me up at night as i cant think what it was called!lol

so please try to help me out!

The prog I remember was called 'Anneka' and I don't think her boyfriend died but it was either her brother or friend who nicked off on the boyfriend's motorbike and lost control. I know it was a motorbike as I remember them riding on a beach through water on it! Hope this helps....Dagman

if its the one i'm thinking of - the girl **may** have been played by imogen stubbs and the boy on the motorbike was played my jesse birdsall. might that be right? i can still see the girl, sitting on a train, getting a boiled egg and some salt out of her haversack and eating them there and then...

God its been ages since i looked into this question!

But ive found the name of the program:) its called ANNIKA..........made in 1983 shown in 1984 on sunday nights at 9pm
