Property Owned As Tenants In Common

Hi there people, here is a legal question. I want to replace the fence at the back of my garden but it's a fence that is dividing a house whose house is at the backof my garden, and we both share the same fence. Do I need permission toremove the fence and put up a better concrete structured one up?

A copy of the deeds will be lodged with yr solicitor or bank, or you can contact the Land Registry who will also have the information. There may be an informal agreement about the fence and boundary, but you dowant to check out the precise legal position.
Are you not on speaking terms with your neighbour- I guess the best solution would be to communicate with them and reach a mutually acceptable solution, otherwise it's official channels to find out who has the right over the land/ boundary.
